Oroki オロキ a portmanteau of Orochi オロチ (Great Snake) and Ki キ (Air).
Oroki Productions was established to cultivate engaging story telling through circus arts. Our productions aim to showcase local artists and drive awareness to programming at schools in the Seattle area. These performances are opportunities to bring in under-represented artists and highlight their stories.
We bring signature aerial variety and burlesque acts from coast to coast having performed in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Cincinnati at events such as Moisture Festival, Seattle Boylesque Festival, What the Funk Fest, Open Air Festival, Venice is Sinking: Masquerade Ball, Outtasight: A Psychedlia Tease, FUNKe Presents: Paper Lanterns, ECTA Mardi Gras, Portland Erotic Ball, and the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival. Aside from individual pieces, we have created local productions such as Alice in Shadowland and the Annual Georgetown Haunted History Tour
Oroki is an aerial performer primarily disciplined in Straps and Rope, with experience in Partner Acrobatics and Cyr Wheel. Locally in Seattle, WA, they instruct regularly at Emerald City Trapeze Arts and the School of Acrobatic and New Circus Arts. With a background in hip hop choreography and climbing both indoors and out, they sought circus as a creative outlet to combine artistry and strength. They established their foundation at Emerald City Trapeze Arts, completed 100 hours at École de cirque de Québec, 34.5 hours under Aaron Koz, and completed the six months teacher training under Deon Fox. They now produce shows, aerial collaborations, and perform regularly through the year.
